Description
Ubuntu users have reported that they can't see their own messages except when they click into the output area. This seems to be a bug in GTK+ 2.17.x as it doesn't happen with the same Smuxi version (0.6.3) running on GTK+ 2.16.5.
That very odd behavior can be see in the attached screenshot.

This needs to be relased before Ubuntu/Karmic does, else Smuxi will be pretty useless!
